Susan Brazer is a Corporate Development executive with global expertise in launching new Technology, Media & Telecommunications ventures and services. In her role as Managing Partner for LionShare, Brazer advises on capital fundraising, M&A and growth strategies. Recently, Brazer was VP Corporate Development and Product Strategy for Virgin Mobile USA, where she set strategic direction for next generation mobile services and emerging technologies. Prior to this, Brazer led LionShare Media International, assisting major media companies and VCs on investment decisions on new consumer technologies and mobile lines-of-business. Brazer was EVP, Business Development for KirchMedia’s sports venture fund for wireless, TV and broadband investments for the World Cup and Formula One. As Senior Vice President, Network Development and Marketing for Viacom, Brazer launched MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Showtime and Discovery channels in the Middle East and Africa. Brazer was also VP Market Development for Societe Europeene des Satellites (ASTRA), where she led the migration of 65M TVHH to digital distribution and Director of Marketing at Compression Labs, Inc., where she led the launch of DirecTv with Hughes Communications. At Apple Computer, Brazer developed and introduced its first portable computer, its first PDA—the Newton, as well as the Knowledge Navigator. She performed M&A for Pepsico and acquired Kentucky Fried Chicken for $850m. Brazer holds a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University, an MBA from Kellogg, Northwestern's School of Management and attended London School of Economics.
