About Me:
Steven L. Lubetkin, APR, Fellow, PRSA, is managing partner of Lubetkin Communications LLC, and its social media counseling subsidiary, Professional Podcasts LLC. Steve, a technology-savvy veteran of more than 25 years in corporate and financial communications, and print and broadcast journalism, is also a Senior Research Fellow and member of the Advisory Board of the Society for New Communications Research (www.sncr.org), a nonprofit think-tank devoted to the advanced study of new communications tools, technologies and emerging modes of communication, and their effect on traditional media, professional communications, business, culture and society.

Steve helped lead successful media relations programs for two of the largest bank mergers of the last five years: FleetBoston Financial Corporation's $7 billion acquisition of Summit Bancorp in 2001, and Bank of America's $47 billion acquisition of Fleet, completed in 2004.

Today, Steve offers his communications and new media (blogs, podcasts, social networking) expertise to his own clients.

As a communications counselor, he offers senior executives his extensive experience in media relations, speech and testimony writing, seminar and conference planning, issues management, and crisis public relations. He also coaches CEOs and C-suite executives on effective presentation skills and prepares them for news media interviews.

Steve has held senior level public relations and communications management positions with Standard & Poor's, Unisys Corporation, and Conrail. He holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix/ONLINE, and a BA in Spanish and Philosophy (dual major) from Monmouth College (now Monmouth University).

Professional Podcasts LLC is New Jersey's leading producer of high-quality business oriented podcasts -- audio and video programs distributed via the Internet. We also have extensive experience in preparing radio news actualities, interviews and other reports.

Using digital audio technologies, we can deliver a client's messages to broadcast outlets in a cost-effective way. The links below provide examples of our work.

We not only produce podcast programs for our clients, but also help them alert potential listeners that a new podcast program is available by handling the RSS distribution technology that makes podcasts visible to listeners on the Web and in the Apple iTunes Music store.
