For those that missed it, the CIO conference provided some in depth discussion on leveraging the cloud, pros and cons and the presumed role of the Cloud into the future. Some of the client concerns from the discussion were Security of Data on the Cloud, Portability and standards if you have to change application providers, and Relibility concerns, (both from the physical side as well as business solvency).

 

I think that it might be helpful to continue the discussion on this forum. I would suggest that any Cloud based providers might want to jump in and address some of the concerns, and others may wish to add additional concerns.
