E-Health Records: Summit & Expo

The federal government recently released the final rules on meaningful use and standards and certification that mark the official launch of the EHR in this country. Providers and patients must be confident that the electronic health information technology (health IT) products and systems they use are secure, can maintain data confidentiality, can work with the selected vendors to integrate information, and perform a set of well-defined functions.
